Bloody OR Unbloody?
The New Catechism of the Catholic Church
states: “By consecration the transubstantiation of the bread and wine into the Body and blood of Christ is brought about. Under the consecrated species…Christ himself…is present in a true, real and substantial manner: his Body and His blood, with his soul and his divinity” (para. 1413).

Then the Catechism states:
The sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice:... In this divine sacrifice which is celebrated in the Mass, the same Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is contained and is offered in an unbloody manner (1367).
