Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. “This is the first and great commandment." Matthew 22:37-38

How many of us could truly say we have always loved the LORD with ALL of our hearts, souls, and minds? Yet this remains a commandment.  Loving the LORD with all of our minds would include being honest with Him and ourselves about what we believe and why we believe it. The Bible tells us that God desires "truth in the inward parts" (Psalm 51:6).

Dear Catholic... this site is here to cause you to examine the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church in comparison to what the Word of God says. No anti-Catholic sources are used in this web site; We quote directly from “pro-Catholic“ sources – the Church’s own Catechisms and Councils.

I, the author of this web site, was raised in a Catholic background. There came a time when I had to ask critical questions and be honest with myself:

1. Am I trusting Christ and His Word or man and his religious traditions?
2. Who is the final authority on vital issues? The Word of God (Bible) or Rome?
3. How do I resolve the contradictions between the Word of God and the teachings of the Catholic church?
4. How can I be right before God since I have sinned against God and broken His laws?

My desire is to cause you to think about the Catholic teachings in comparison to what the word of God says. No anti-Catholic sources are used in this web site; I quote directly from “pro-Catholic“ sources – the Church’s own Catechisms and Councils.  I care about where you will spend eternity.

Jesus, speaking to a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews...a "religious" man, said "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3 NKJV)

If you are a Roman Catholic, is it because you were raised Catholic and you are keeping the tradition or because you have examined the teachings and believe the Catholic church is the "right path"? The Bible tells us that God commands us to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Notice the part about the mind. That means He requires us to think motivated by love for Him. God gave you a mind to use for His glory. Please review the pages on this site regarding the teachings of the Catholic Church. Eternity is a really long time; actually it never ends.

Here is a chart that shows some differences between what the Pope teaches vs. what the Bible teaches. These are not trivial differences and should be honestly examined. Get out your Bible and take a look....

For the word of the LORD is right, And all His work is done in truth. Ps 33:4
